IT Manager

Demant Business Services in Szczecin is looking for an experienced manager to lead the IT team responsible for Global IT Monitoring Center. In this role you will be part of Infrastructure & Operations, IT management team and will be leading a team of 8 employees.
Based on a strong foundation of people, systems and processes, and in close cooperation with stakeholders, you must master the balance between maintaining a long term IT strategy and supporting the daily operations.

What tasks are waiting for you?
Provide leadership and motivation to the team in changing environment
Ensure 24/7 enterprise IT Monitoring activities that cover IT infrastructure, security, and applications,
Keep the knowledgebase and relevant process documentation up to date
Ensure service minded approach and a stable operation of all systems
Drive improvements to current setup and finding new areas to be included in monitoring scope
Explore new monitoring solutions with focus on automation
Secure cross departmental collaboration and knowledge transfer ownership

In order to succeed in the role you need to have a talent for leadership, bridging technology, business processes and people – and can talk and build good relationships across all levels and with various stakeholders in a global company like ours.
To be a good candidate for that position we require:
Fluent in spoken and written English;
B.Sc/M.Sc degree in computer science or similar;
At least 2 years of relevant IT experience as a manager/leader;
Enthusiastic team player, excellent in building relations, interacting with people;
Good knowledge of IT Monitoring technologies
Eagerness with operational excellence mindset
